Why the name Lunaria?
Lunaria is a flower which is more commonly called the Honesty Flower. Honesty is something we live by in how we recruit and so we thought what better than to have it as our name! It is also most recognised by the seed pods, which we thought was great as, pun alerts… we can help plant the seeds of people's careers and support them so they can blossom!
Our Story
Our story starts with our founder having a vision to use her 12 years recruitment experience as a force for good. Innately she prioritises her clients’ and candidates’ happiness and makes choices to positively impact the people she meets along the way. This is her purpose, finding people their happy place, setting them on the right career path and helping them through every stage of their career as they progress.
She started to wonder if there was more she could do… Could she scale this up to help more people? Could she do business in a way that was better for the environment? Were there any other recruiters out that with the same vision?
The answer to all three was YES… and so Lunaria Partners was born.
What do you mean by Force for Good?
It can be defined as ‘creating a better world through purpose-driven businesses’. For us this means conducting business in a sustainable way to reduce our impact on the environment, and developing four programmes to help people change their lives.
We balance purpose and profit and hold ourselves accountable by considering the impact of all decisions on our employees, our community, candidates we work with, clients, suppliers and the environment.
